In 2023, FTC, SEC & EU regulators have issued new guidelines and rules on Greenwashing & consumer protection which every organization that markets & advertises products or services, needs to be up to date on. So, for example, seemingly small items such as packaging & hangtags are under scrutiny and in light of new standards, both the copy and imaging should be reviewed.

WDA is now developing in association with Truuli Environmental Inc., an on-line Certification program Certificate of Achievement , De-Carbonization Solutions. This program is designed for all verticals and is open to both individuals and corporations. A digital badge for framing and posting will company the certificate. Bill has also lectured on ESG & Circularity at NC State School of Business, The Retail Marketing Society, Cotton Inc. Forum, The International School of Management, Paris, the Dept of International Trade & Marketing at FIT and in the Fall 2022 & 2023, taught at the Stern School of Business, NYU wherein he designed the experimental course on ESG/CSR Challenges in the Fashion Sector.
