
Bill D’Arienzo is the founder and CEO of Wm. D’Arienzo Associates, Inc. in Princeton, NJ, where he leads a team of seasoned professionals in helping clients achieve their branding objectives and business goals. He also serves as CEO of ApparelAnalytics.
Bill has over 25 years of experience as a consultant to the apparel sector & related industries providing research applications and brand-marketing solutions to retail & wholesale clients. He has been a divisional president and has held senior executive positions in marketing and merchandising in apparel manufacturing companies. Bill maintains extensive industry-wide contacts with manufacturers, retailers and opinion leaders. He has been featured and quoted in apparel industry trade publications and national newspapers and magazines, such as LA Times, U.S. News & World Report and The New York Times, providing analysis of retail dynamics, consumer trends and branding strategies. Bill is also a frequent keynote speaker at industry organizations and educational institutions, including The American Apparel & Footwear Association and the Advanced Management Program at FIT. He has written for India’s Images Fashion Magazine & has been a keynote speaker for IFF in Mumbai and at other global conferences & venues.
Bill was a part-time senior lecturer for 15 years in market research and communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City His education includes a BA from Ohio State, an MA from the City University of New York, and a PhD from the New School. He has also been a Ford Foundation Fellow at Vanderbilt University and a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow at Princeton University.
Bill is currently an adjunct professor teaching Marketing in the MBA Program at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.
