CEO SPOTLIGHT
Bill
D’Arienzo is the founder and CEO of WDA: BrandMarketing
Solutions in Princeton, NJ, where he leads a team
of seasoned professionals
in helping clients
achieve their branding objectives and business goals.
Bill
has over 25 years of experience providing market
research and management consulting to the apparel
and related industries. He has held senior executive
positions in marketing, advertising and merchandising in apparel manufacturing
companies.
Bill maintains extensive
industry-wide contacts with manufacturers, retailers
and opinion leaders. He has been featured
and quoted in apparel industry trade
publications and national newspapers and magazines, such as LA Times, U.S.
News & World
Report and The New York Times, providing analysis of retail dynamics, consumer
trends and branding strategies. Bill is also a frequent keynote speaker at
industry organizations and educational institutions, including The American
Apparel & Footwear
Association and the Advanced Management Program at FIT.
Bill was a part-time
senior lecturer for 15 years in market research and communications at the
Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City
and taught full-time
in the CUNY System. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio
State, a Masters from the City University of New
York, and a PhD from the New School.
He has also been a Ford Foundation Fellow at Vanderbilt University and
a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow at
Princeton University.
